I think it’s a goner.

I think it’s a goner.

So I forgot about this guy for awhile.  Seeing as Susan Miller says that I’ll begin to explore new areas of communication this month, I’ll probably be posting occasionally.  I could resolve to not neglect this thing for the new year, but I already made a resolution not to stress-eat entire packs of gum, so that will keep me pretty busy.

I love the 90’s

Skimming through this inspired me to actually unpack the boxes and boxes of my stuff from the move back home from college.  Because I’ll be moving again in about a month, and then again a month after that, I’m also going through my old things to try to get rid of as much as possible.  Among the treasures found while sorting my jewelry: two sets of yin-yang earrings, dangly neon parrot earrings, a shell strung through a rainbow ribbon, and a Toy Story pin.  It’s tempting to keep them all just to relive the laugh that I had at myself.

Done

As long as I manage to wake up before noon to turn in my design project, I will graduate on Saturday.

Must be spring

The college has set about watering every square foot of grass on campus, even if that requires the walkways to also be sprayed.   Nothing like having to choose between getting muddy feet or soaking wet first thing in the morning.

Technical difficulties

Well, my internet finally got its act together.  Unfortunately (I want to say “unfort”, but I can’t really truncate that and convey the meaning without completely destroying its spelling) my laptop problems have just gotten so much worse— my AIM is refusing to open and the cracks in the plastic are expanding.  I’d gotten used to the general overheating/fan spinning like crazy and the floppyness of the monitor (it prefers to be completely flat and aligned with my keyboard).  However, the possibility of the hardware crashing or ripping in two increases with every passing day.

Also, my back decided today that it hates me.  No longer can I walk, sit, or bend like a normal person.  I tried to self-diagnose, but I have my doubts about some of the ailments webmd found.  I wish there was a webmd for computers.
